Leonardo DiCaprio Attacked At Party

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio attended a party thrown by Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, Rick Salomon, and was struck by a bottle and required stitches to close the wound. The object believed to have hit DiCaprio was a beer bottle. The actor was reported to have received a dozen stitches. However, the Los Angeles Police Department has yet to confirm this report.
DiCaprio is currently shooting “The Departed” directed by Martin Scorsese in New York and Boston. The injury would not affect the shooting status of this film.
DiCaprio recently won a Golden Globe for his role in “The Aviator” the biopic of eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes.
