The Grace Of Lord Krishna On Arjuna- Jayadratha's Killing
That was both a good and bad news for the rascal Kauravs. Good because if Arjuna could not kill Jayadratha, he would himself die and bad because Jayadratha could get killed by Arjuna. Next day the kauravas kept Jayadratha behind and came forward to fight. They did not want Arjuna to reach Jayadratha. The battle went on for the whole day. When Lord Krishna saw that the day was about to end, he graced Arjuna with his favor. Lord Krishna hid the sun with his maya and as everybody began celebrating in the camp of Kauravs, Lord Krishna told Arjuna that the day had not ended and asked him to kill Jayadratha. As soon as Jayadratha was killed, the great Lord removed his maya and the sun began shining again. Lord thus deceived the kauravas and Arjuna was saved.
Lord says that you will surely all suffer the results of your karma. But pray to me and I will show you the way out of all these sufferings. Surrender to me. Surrender everything you have to me and I will take your care. He did this for Arjuna. Lord has saved all of is followers with his grace. Meerabai was saved from the poison. Lord has great mercy but he is equally violent upon the wrong doers. During the war of Mahabharata he got all those who were not following true Dharma killed.
