Eleven Signs Your Ex Wants You Back - Your Prospects Are Good If Any of These Apply

You've broken up with your ex but have had a change of heart. Getting her back would be so much easier if you knew in advance that she also has regrets about the break up. Asking point blank may be too confrontational, so the better approach is to use some subtlety.
First, you should examine the nature of the break up itself. How extreme were the circumstances? If the issues were over small annoying things that got out of hand, then once things have cooled off some, she will probably want to resume the relationship. It's not so clear if the break up was more violent in nature and occurred over more serious matters. If this is the case then you will have to look for clues or signs that your ex wants you back:
1.) Is your ex having a difficult time adjusting? If so, the relationship is still a big part of her life. For her, this is a huge loss.
2.) Does she want to remain friends with you? If so, you are still an important aspect of her life that she doesn't want to do without. Being friends should not be considered "the kiss of death". It keeps a channel of communication open. This can be used over time to get her back.
3.) Is she apologetic about the things she said during the break up? This indicates a desire for reconciliation.
4.) Does she compliment you when you talk? Even an indirect compliment about your tie or your new car is very significant.
5.) Is your ex involved in a new relationship? If it's been a while since the break up and she's not involved with someone else, then she maybe she's finding it too difficult to replace what the two of you had together. Perhaps the others that she has met don't measure up.
6.) Has she kept the lines of communication open? This includes responding to your phone calls as well as initiating calls and conversations herself.
7.) Does her eyes and body language reveal anything? If she's interested in seeing you, her eyes will widen and her brows will raise when first she sees you. Dilated pupils are also a very good sign. Look for prolonged eye contact during conversation and quick adjustments to her hair when she first notices your presence.
8.) Mirroring is also a good giveaway. Mirroring are things such as an unconscious imitation of your body language or of your mood. She may also imitate the volume, tone or rhythm of your speech.
9.) Does she use the word "you" a lot in her sentences? Does she end her sentences with a question that asks for agreement or approval? This is a clear sign of interest in you because 2nd person speech is more personal than third person. Ending sentences with questions is an attempt to draw you deeper into the conversation.
10.) Does she still do a lot of the small things for you that she did in the past? If she wanted you out of her life, she simply wouldn't bother.
11.) Finally, be alert to any sort of reminiscing about your past relationship.
