Summit New Jersey, one of the most well known and attractive towns on Northern New Jersey’s Midtown Direct train line.

Summit is one of those popular towns where you can find a modest 3 bedroom home for about 400K all the way up to a 6 bedroom and larger mansion for all the way up to 12 million and even more. Home prices in Summit New Jersey tend to outperform the rest of the state by a fairly good margin. For example during 2007 the state of New Jersey as a whole on average lost 14% of its homes value, while homes in the Summit NJ real estate market were up just over 1%.
