1. Lucky Sports( http://www.luckysports.net/): The concept is simple; it is to teach children sportsmanship, right from wrong. They do this by bringing attention to the number 1 distraction of school children, bullies. In a series of 8 books (2 in Spanish), the children learn how to deal with bullies. The books written by Charls Hellman cover all the major sports. Each book comes with a cd where the story can be narrated. The cd also includes music, and fun interviews of the characters by the characters. Children can also have the plush toys available of their favorite characters. Each book is 32 pages with great illustrations in vibrant colors.
2. Tino Turtle Travels ( http://www.tinoturtletravels.com/): This is a series of books for readers 4th grade and above. The main character, a turtle, takes trips to places like London, Mexico, and China. Readers will learn geography in these beautifully illustrated books. A cd comes with the book that includes the story, music, and maps of Tino's travels. This is an award winning series. The series has a bunch of products to reinforce what is taught in the books as well as plush Tino turles and backpacts.
3:WordTeasers ( http://www.wordteasers.com/): This game is for the more advanced or older student. The line of games includes Idioms, World Culture and Geography, and College Prep. It is an interactive game for home and school. The College Prep is really for the SAT test and does a better job than drilling cards.
None of the items was overly expensive. In fact, Nothing was over $20 as far as the books and toys. They were all family friendly and educational. Overall great products for kids.
