Searching for the dream: Last Page

Bhumika Ghimire
As I left my home looking for the dream, I felt weightless.A burden was lifted from me,burden of not looking hard enough to find what I wanted.Even the act of trying to get the dream liberated me, wonder what achieving the dream would do.

The journey I started two years ago is still on, I am still travelling towards my goal.My experiences in America, the lessons I learnt and the lessons I learn everyday would last me a life time.

This story could have a happy ending if I have the patience to wait for what my life would bring and then write about it.My princess will get her prince if I allow her to sit and wait. But then prince and dreams are comforting when the heart is young. When you are young to believe in the charm of distant dreams and romance a stranger brings then a happy ending is all you ask for.

Sadly I have grown past. My prince will never come and I will not wait till my life truns around for good.So this is the last page of my story.I am putting an end to this journey towards the dreamland and beginning to live in the present.Afterall, when the dawn comes in and our sweet dreams of night leave us the present is all we have.
