Madonna Explains Britney Spears Kiss: Passing On My Energy To Her

Madonna is used to intense grilling from the press: Are you and Guy getting a divorce? Do you really consider yourself an actress? Do you think you are still relevant? Have you had plastic surgery? Have you and Elton John made up?

But it turns out that Madonna has faced the most intense interrogation from her 9-year old daughter.

In an interview with "Out" magazine, Madonna confessed that her infamous smooch with pop tart Britney Spears made her explain some tough questions regarding her sexual orientation.

Madonna said her daughter Lourdes became very curious about homosexuality after witnessing "The Kiss" on MTV.

From the "Out" Magazine article:

"Mom, you know that they say you are gay?"

Madonna explained to her daughter by saying: "I am the mommy pop star and she (Britney) is the baby pop star. I am kissing her to pass my energy on to her."

I guess Lourdes is still too young and tender for Madonna to tell her the truth: Honey, I'm an aging Diva who will do anything for publicity.

Can you imagine a guy using that lame excuse? "Honey, Yes you caught me naked with the babysitter, and yes she was straddling me, but I was just passing on my energy to her."

Wait until Lourdes sees her mother's god-awful film "Swept Away", she will have to come up with an even more imaginative excuse to explain that travesty.
