Bloom Booster: A Potent Hydroponics Gardening Product

Michael Straumietis
When your plants prepare to enter the flowering stage of development, it is time to start preparing for the steps that you will take to ensure that your plants create the biggest flowers with the best qualities. One of the best ways you can do this is by investing in a very high quality bloom booster. These products typically contain loads of natural plant hormones, vitamins, nutrients and other materials that are specifically designed to help get you those prize-winning flowers. But it is not enough to simply pour the stuff into your nutrient solution and hope for the best.

If you are really interested in getting those big blooms, you need to know how to properly combine your bloom booster with other hydroponic products and elements in your system.

Increase Phosphorus and Potassium - Now is the time to give your nutrient solution an extra shot of phosphorus and potassium. By upping the amount of these macronutrients that your plant receives, you will speed metabolism, which will increase cell division, and that will lead to bigger buds and flowers. You should be careful, however, not to add too much phosphorus relative to potassium. In order to prevent phosphorus excess, you should always have more potassium than phosphorus.

Use Your Bloom Booster as a Foliar Spray - Foliar fertilizing is one of the easiest ways to get a little bit extra amount of nutrients, vitamins and growth stimulants into your plants. While the large majority of your plant's absorption of these materials occurs in the root zone and no amount of foliar fertilization can help your plant if you don't ensure that your reservoir is optimized, a good foliar spray, particularly during the flowering stage, can help you see the kinds of blooms that you have always wanted.

While hydroponic products that are specifically designed to be used as foliar sprays are extremely effective, you can simply use your bloom booster. The bloom booster's carbohydrates, kelp, vitamins and other materials will give your plant everything that it needs to create full, lush and heavy flowers.

Change Your Light Cycle - One of the biggest mistakes that hydroponic growers make is treating their plants during the flowering stage of development in the exact same way as the vegetative stage. But this just isn't the case in nature. Plants are designed to move through seasons and as they start flowering, the lights and other factors change in nature.

Hydroponic growers can simulate this in their hydroponic system by switching over to red spectrum lights and a light cycle that has their plants in light for twelve hours and in darkness for twelve hours. This shorter light cycle front, which is what is typically recommended for the vegetative stage, won't just trigger flowering, it will also save you a considerable amount of money on electricity.

Make sure to also educate yourself on other hydroponic products that you can use in conjunction with bloom booster. A bloom booster's effectiveness can be improved if you know ways to enhance and augments its ingredients by using other hydroponic products simultaneously with it.

Hello. My name is Michael Straumietis. I am the co-founder of Advanced Nutrients, an international marketer and manufacturer of agricultural, home & garden, hydroponics plant nutrients and soil less fertilizers. With an inherent green thumb, I began studying and practicing gardening & hydroponics at a very early age. In university, I explored the fundamental processes of plant life at the molecular level. After years of perfecting my knowledge and skills, I formed Advanced Nutrients to share my expertise in hydroponics, plant nutrition and soil science. In my spare time, I love to work in my garden and yard and I also have a small greenhouse where I experiment with new formulas and techniques. I also publish my knowledge in short original papers with a focus on accelerating growth, increasing yield, and improving soil-plant interaction. If you would like my free newsletter, sign up now. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you here at American Chronicle and making new, lifelong friends. Good luck!
