The First 30 Days: Your Guide to Any Change by Ariane De Bonvoisin Book Review

Nancy Eaton
What does change mean to you? Well, to some it means good things are about to happen. To most people, however, fear sets in when they hear the word "change". Some people are happy with things just the way they are. Let´s face it – change is something that will happen in our lives whether we like it or not. There might be a new job, an illness, a divorce, etc.

The author lists nine principles to help you with change. She discusses each one in detail. Also included are real life stores, exercises and action points.

Some of the topics covered are:

How to Develop a Positive Approach to Change

The Change Guarantee

Your Change Muscle

How to Combat Your Change Demons

How to Build a Change Support Team

No matter what kind of change you are facing, this book will provide suggestions to help you see the positive side and make it less stressful for you. The main goal of this book is to help people "embrace change, get through it and be able to navigate the twists and turns of life." This book is well written and the author did an excellent job in organizing it. The First 30 Days is easy to understand and is not full of terminology where you need a dictionary to read it. This book is a great resource guide. You will want to keep it handy as a reference.
