Stop the Ethnic Cleansing in Darfur, Ogaden and Gabooye (Lawless Entity Somaliland)
Even worse, Gaboye is not located in an internationally recognized country, like Sudan (Darfur) or Abyssinia (Ogaden). Gabooye is engulfed within the illegally incepted and tyrannically ruled territory of breakaway Somaliland.
Culturally distinct, the Gabooye tribe of the Somalis, who - like the outright majority of the population locked within dictator Riyaale´s territory - passionately desire the pacification and the re-unification of Somalia, have been exposed to utmost discrimination, involving illegal detention, kidnapping, looting, extrajudicial killings, physical threats, rapes, and internal displacement.
The Gabooye Diaspora, and more particularly the Gabooye Minority Organisation Europe and North America (http://gabooye.org/) have just published an Appeal that deserves great attention from the part of the Human Rights NGOs, international bodies, democratic governments, mass media, and political activists.
Stop the Gabooye ethnic cleansing now! Make International Law a matter of respect in the lawless entity of "Somaliland"!
I republish the Appeal integrally here, promising to come back with further material of the Gabooye plight.

In history we have seen various wars, World War I and II, the cold war and civil war from the Persian Gulf to Rwanda, Uganda, Bosnia, Somalia, and many parts of the world. All ended in catastrophe with a bat of blood, mothers tears crying for the lost of loved once, new generation of orphans, surrounded with died bodies from every corner, survivors bleeding, but don´t feel the pain, people angry, full of hate and hungry for revenge, they are frightened, and wonder how they survived, they have lost their friends and loved once in a war they never was a part of, thinking of what is waiting? Thinking death could be a better alternative, wondering what is waiting. Hunger is the last think they might come across. And they wonder what is next? All they hope is an end nightmare!
We have all learned the meaning of war its impact and consequence, although the world have seen many wars and genocides but the unpredictable cowardly crimes and genocide are yet to be discovered! Innocent lives of those an armed civilians children and women in the War torn Horn of Africa in particularly the northern region of Somali (Somaliland).
Since the civil war in 1990, that torn the country Somalia into parts, and was under the supreme control of the Different Somali militia, warlords and tribal ruffian, each one with their own law, a law that suits their interests and particularly of those of their clans.
Clans and tribes full of greed and hate, destruction and revenge on the top of their agenda, all thirsty, thirsty for blood of the unarmed civilians.
After the downfall of the Late Siad Barres regime all the five Somali speaking territories, excluding Djibouti and NFD, Others like Ogadenia, Southern Somali, Northern Somalia (Somaliland) are all in chaos.
Somaliland with all its arms, tanks, military, and power are constantly aggressive attacking the indigenous community of Somaliland (Gabooye).
Their large campaign "Ethnic cleansing" which is particularly targets young men, children, women, and the tribe´s intellectuals. Looting, kidnap, arrest, detaining, terrorising and the world is watching silently, some are quiet were others give a round of applause, but no one seems to hear the screams of mother, the tears of children, the grief of the fathers, and the destruction of generation, with no one to help! They are wondering; has the law ever heard of them? Where is the law? Who is the law? And who is in the next on the list?
Following the celebration of New Years Eve 2008, On January Cabdi-Aziz Hiir Musa was celebrating the wedding ceremony of his cousin in Hargeisa, Dami village when tens of men that were linked to the police came and tried to destroy the wedding, after a while a uniformed police van has arrived in the scene and opened fire in the ceremony on the family of the groom. Targeting Mr. Cabdi-Aziz for trying to prevent the intruders from destroying the wedding, but the police deliberately shoot at him, they have let the intruders to leave without stop or arrest. Soon after the wedding ended up in a tragedy, the guest shocked and fled the scene for their lives, all amazed, and trilled with fear, the bride fainted from the shock. Cabdi-Aziz was left with his wounds and the police simply walked away from the heart-rending scene. No law or justice, only the strong survives. But the amazingly, bolt from the blue the young man still living with bullets in his body, and he is wondering what crime has he committed?
And the worst was to come, again on a new victim, (has the gabooye hunting season started), on the night of the 04-04-2008 at dalooldho village Mr. Khadar Abdi Libax came across few police officers, they stopped him interrogated, and have discovered his clan was gabooye, all of a sudden one of the police officer opened fire, and two bullets went all the way through his body, one just inches over his balls and the other on his thigh bone, they panicked and decided to take him to hospital, mystified they were. Pusillanimous they came with an idea that might clear all trace of the crime which was to cover his treatment in the hospital and compensate him. The officer was not arrested and a after long dispute they decided to deny everything, and instead of arresting the officer they could simply arrest the young man from the hospital and adjust the story a little bit. They then planned to arrest 4 other innocent youngster´s from the Indigenous gabooye clan, and make the whole case sound like a self defence.
Between the arrested is Mr. Khadar Cabdi Bashiir, Mr. Haliil Abib, Mr. Khadar Awl, Mr. Mustafa Rashiid Cabdi all of them are now in dalooldho police station, incarcerated for no crime, tortured, abused, humiliated, terrorised for more than two months so that they could play and dance as they were told by the police. Running around, day in day out to and from the court, handcuffed, and chained, no case, evidence or prosecution. They are fighting to live, fighting a system that supports and justify violation against Gabooye clan. We are not aware of their state at the present if alive or not, and how much longer they can hold on? Have they done enough damage? I doubt!
Not so soon on 08-05-2008 a private vehicle alleged owned by police personnel that work in the area drove by in the village of daami shooting on a young lad by the name of Mr. Cabdi Mohammed Ciid, and left him seriously wounded, lying on the street, shoot for fun with the intension for harm, terrorise and achieve the ultimate objective "Ethnic Cleansing". And the boy is still also living with his bullets.
Few days later an 18 years old young man was brutally stabbed twice by an older man in a restaurant and the young man died on the spot.
All these incidents happened after the Somaliland government threatened publicly on several occasion by the Deputy minister of justice and religion TALABO who was heavily trained by Siad Barre and was responsible about the execution of the Gabooye clan in and after the civil war that torn the country apart.
We strongly condemn the barbaric execution of the gabooye in the hands of the terrorist regime in Somaliland that has been targeting the indigenous gabooye clan. We denounce the ethnic cleansing, execution, looting, torturing, terrorising, arresting, abducting, rape of the unarmed civilians.
