Indiana Jones 4 the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this years most anticipated movie release of this season. It is the story of Indiana Jones being forced or drawn into looking for one of the crystal skulls by the Russians. The story starts out with Indiana Jones being kidnapped and used to find a high magnetic box that has been stored in a secret military facility. In the box is supposed to be an alien that crashed landed on earth in the 50's. Dr Jones is forced by gun point to identify the location of these alien remains by using the magnetic charge of the case to show him the way. After finding the case Dr. Jones finds that not all is the same as before with his previous adventures. Old aliens turn on him and show their true colors. As a result of helping the Russians Dr. Jones is labeled a communist and is shunned by the education hierarchy of his college. Therefore, he is fired.

Dr. Jones is very unhappy about this situation and decides that America is not the place for him anymore. He decides to start off for London to start a new life. Maybe taking an teaching job down there. But before he could get a start towards London he is found by a young adventurer that warns him that one of this old friends from college was in danger of being killed and that he was searching for one of the Crystal Skulls which he has apparently found but need was also captured by the same people who stole the box from the military facility earlier. The young adventures convinces Dr. Jones to take on the quest and to help save his old friend as well as find the elusive crystal skull that so many have attempted to find but has fallen short.

I my opinion this version of Indiana Jones was not as exciting as the original. Some of the parts were kind of slow and it lacked the kind of continuous action that was in the first film. I still enjoyed the movie but I wish it was not so much conversation and more action to fill the gaps. Also, at times I kind of lost the theme of the movie. Their was one part that the adventure kid talked about concerning his mother that kind of did not make much sense. I guess I will have to wait till the release to truly see what that was really about.

Overall, this was a great movie that is even better on the big screen. So, if you get a chance to see it on the big screen take advantage of it. Also, it is definitely worth buying when it comes to DVD. It is also safe for older children. Great movie..
