Here's How You Can Deal With Online Dating Rejection

Andrew Johnstone
It really doesn't matter if you are dating in the "real" world or in the online dating world, because the fact is that rejection is a very real fear and problem for most men. For most guys, it's not the fear of approaching women that is the problem but it's the actual rejection itself. The thought of being rejected then conjures up a fear of approaching women which then results in no action being taken. Or, if the guy does approach, he is so nervous that he completely screws up his chances with the woman. I'm sure a lot of guys would rather lose an arm than go through the humiliation of rejection.

So exactly how do men deal with this problem? Well, by changing your thinking and accepting that rejection can actually have certain benefits, you can begin to see things in a different light (glass half full, instead of half empty). Nothing in life is ever as bad as it seems… it's just our THOUGHTS that make it seem a lot worse than it really is.

Look at it from the point of view that it is the other person that is missing out on a great guy (you), rather than you missing out on her. Don't take it personally because at the end of the day, they are not rejecting "you" (they don´t even know the real you) they are rejecting some random stranger.

Just realise that each "no" that you get is actually bringing you "closer" to a "yes". Quite often in life, things happen for a reason and it's possible that the women that reject you are actually doing you a huge favour… potentially saving you a lot of time, money and energy being spent on the wrong woman for you. See how your mindset changes when you look at it from another angle?

Online dating is really a numbers game so the more no's that you get, the more practice that you get at approaching and chatting to women. This allows you to refine your inner and outer game, and gain better results in the long run. Don't get so hung up on the outcome. Some guys are literally scared to death of screwing things up, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter… just enjoy the process and have some fun with it all.

If you actually apply the ideas in this article you will find that after awhile, online dating rejection is no longer an issue, but is just part of the whole process called life. And the irony is that the more you have fun with it and just be indifferent to the end result, the better your results will be and the more attractive you will seem to women.
