Intelliborn has just released the Intelliscreen application for the Apple iPhone. Intelliscreen places updates of the iPhone´s applications on the wake-up screen. The program is available for iPhone and iTouch devices that are allowed to use applications from third-party programmers.

Intelliscreen was developed for iPhone users who want to have instant access to information without opening their phones. The program puts information on the screen such as calendar data, text messages, news, sports, email and weather. The user can customize the type of information that will be shown on the screen. Intelliscreen can check the iPhone´s applications for updates to display the latest calendar, email and SMS entries. It can also access websites to display the latest weather, sports and news reports. Once the screen is unlocked, the user can go directly to the application they want to check.

Users who want to install the program may want to back-up their information. The newly released program has some problems interacting with other applications that are developed by third-party programmers. This may cause the system to crash and lose the information stored in the device.

This is the latest program to be released for modified iPhone and iTouch models. Third party companies have been offering unlocking services for the devices. Unlocking means a conversion method wherein these devices can be configured in order to be used independently from the mobile service provider. The process also allows the installation of mobile phone applications from sources other than Apple, Inc. This allows users to manipulate the types of services available from their gadgets

Apple, Inc. has not released any official statement endorsing any of the third party applications. The iPhone has its own internal applications that are pre-installed. Applications include an e-mail service, an Internet browser, and an organizer among others.
