United Arab Emirates controlling United States Seaports

The recent Bush Administration decision to allow Dubai Ports World to operate eight major United States Sea Ports is a matter of security concerns for elected leaders of both parties, Republican and Democrat.

Dubai Ports World is a government controlled business in the United Arab Emirates.

The Royal Family of Arabia may be loyal friends of the United States but the Arabian Wahabbis Islamic Sect has long supported al-Queda and bin Laden, not western ideals.

On June 25,1996, the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia was bombed killing 19 U.S. soldiers. The group claiming responsibly was a terrorist group known as the Islamic Change Movement. This group was also responsible for the Riyadh Bombing in 1995 which took the lives of two Indian nationals as well as five American citizens.

On August 26, 1996, a twelve page Arabic document titled, ?The Declaration of War? by Usama bin Muhammad bin Laden was issued. This first Bayan or statement issued a final warning for all American troops to leave the Land of the Two Holy Places, otherwise military action would be taken against them by the same youths who with the help of Allah, defeated the largest Infidel superpower in the world, Russia in Afghanistan. ?Muslims burn with anger at America. For it?s own good, America should leave Saudi Arabia? signed Usama bin Laden. The English translation spoke of holy war.

The Clinton Administration viewed al-Queda as a criminal law enforcement task for a third party nation such as Saudi Arabia to resolve.

The Saudi Government did not want anything to do with bin Laden, but agreements were reached to allow him to go to Afghanistan with travel to Somalia restricted. There was no attempt to seize or disable bin Laden?s financial assets in the Sudan by U.S. negotiations. All of bin Laden?s assets, estimated at 300 million dollars were transferred to buy and outfit the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Within four weeks after relocation to Afghanistan, the Khobar Towers was hit.

Fifteen of the nineteen Terrorists on September 11, 2001 were Saudi Arabians, Islamic Extremists.

Mohammed Atta who crashed into Tower One at the World Trade Center had been arrested for placing a bomb on an Israeli bus in 1986. Atta was in an Israeli prison and later freed as a political prisoner per the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians, Clinton Administration.

The major news services in 2002-2003 reported that funds collected by many charitable organizations in the United States were being used to support Terrorist factions in the Mid-East.

The Saudi Government was ?shocked? to learn that many charitable groups in their own nation were also linked directly to Terrorist goals including ?payments? to families of suicide bombers.

Smuggling by sea, munitions, weapons, contraband to human cargos intercepted have been well reported by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Container Ships carrying illegal Chinese

Nationals have been found at West Coast Seaports for years.

Freighters like the Sealand Reliance, APL Sinapore, and OOCL Netherlands have been found with holds filled with illegal aliens.

The operation of U.S. Seaports should not be controlled by any foreign government at the expense of National Security in a time of War.
