The Only Mega-Trend Diet
The Alternate Day Diet (ADD), known also as "Alternate Day Fasting" (ADF) or "Up Day - Down Day Diet", a diet which consists of eating as much as one wants one day while fasting the next. On each fasting day, people consume energy-free beverages, tea, coffee, and sugar-free gum and they drink as much water as they need. Many authors considered it as a miracle diet and quick fix. However, I think it has many side-effects, including:
1. The day of fasting, is a day of very low energy supply, hence it leads to very low activity and productivity.
2. The day of fasting is a day of psychological depression, since you are deprived of your favorite foods including all carbohydrates and sweets.
3. The day of fasting cannot be repeated for long, so once you reached your desired weight, you will rebound to your normal feeding habits and rebound to your original weight.
4. The day of feasting gives you the right to eat all what you want. This will give you the opportunity to overeat huge volumes, with very high caloric content, which may exceed the caloric intake of two ordinary days.
5. The day of feasting may lead to gut distension, frequent bloating, and respiratory distress.
My innovated diet is a new scientific diet plan, which is a lifestyle science and not a temporary diet plan.
1. Its first stage aims at educating and training people to eat frequent small volumes (Luqaimat-sized) of their favorite super-foods in addition to a main meal (moderate-volume and diversified).
2. The second stage is to condense few of these Luqaimat together (in addition to the main meal) in order to adjust the time of the biological-huger clock of the person.
3. In the third stage, the person partially blocks his biological-hunger clock by reducing half of the main meal in addition to the condensed Luqaimat meals.
4. In the fourth stage, the person masks his biological-hunger clock twice weekly by replacing the reduced main meal by three Luqaimat meals.
5. In the fifth stage the person will acquire the spontaneous habits of eating Luqaimat allover the day, small main meal once daily, masking the biological-hunger clock 1 – 2 days weekly and has a sharp rule in his subconscious mind that he will never ever eat a huge meal, even if it is a green salad.
