Picturing Ghosts: Connecting Dots with 6th Sense

"Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real." - Niels Bohr

I was supposed to get a feel for the place and see what, if anything, was there. I felt it from the moment we drove onto the property. There was a sense of dense energy, decay, and activity, and the visual matched with the sensation. All that we could see was old and run down.

That first visit did not allow a trip into the empty house but I didnīt have to go in to feel the space. I could hear voices. They were not hostile. There was a sense of curiosity about our presence and the energy that was directed toward the person I was with (the property owner) had a hint of affection.

Yes, it was haunted. Would that change? I couldnīt say, given I hadnīt had a chance to feel the interior or investigate the living space; but everything changes. Often times, the best thing for a space when it is full of negative energy is a clean up. Those who are sensitive ask permission and even instruction as to what should be addressed first. Those who are not sensitive just go in and do the work. Whatever the case – the space usually lightens up.

Can we clear stagnate energy or surface muck and be done with it or do we have to dig deeper to find things that have been buried and unaddressed for great lengths of time, thus continuing to draw that similar mucky energy to them and cleanse that element too? There is no cookie cutter answer. Each scenario is different and it depends on both the environment of the space and those who are moving in. Like often attracts like. Everything is energy.

The more we understand energy and our intuitive senses, the better we become at learning how to navigate spaces that are welcoming and/or less hospitable. But that is something each person must determine on his own. Fear keeps one out of places they are not quite ready to deal with.

When you can get beyond your fear to see what might be just another dimension we have yet to decode then we all move forward. Until then, if you can open the door just a tiny bit, know that facts are relative when it comes to ghosts. The ghosts I have encountered are by no means limited to bumping around in the dark. And given the chance to mingle with humans, unless there is a point to be made or a message to put across, they seem to have better things to do with their time.

Some people take photos of ghosts and the circles pictured can be seen as either dust or orbs. I view orbs as energy signatures. The above photo was taken on my second trip to the property – when I had permission to go through the house - and my photos spoke for themselves. The orb is that lovely, little circle at mid-point in the door frame. Or maybe it's just dust.

Like I said, I didnīt have to go in the house to know what was there, but it was nice to have some photos to connect the dots. F-Y-I. Quick rule of thumb to tell the difference between an orb and dust: Dust won't make noises to keep you up at night.

So can you take a ghost photo? Find out for yourself. Capturing a ghost on film may not be something everyone can do; not because the person doesn't want to, rather, they may not project the energy it takes to illuminate the image (and that's another story). Of course, there's always the dust factor.

Happy hunting.

A wake up call with nightlights shifted my reality in 1997. I chose to maintain my normal routine but my metaphysical/spiritual connection has intensified to allow me to become more fluent in intuitive readings of people and pets.

The perk? Wherever I am - my nightlights interact/blink for me; 24/7. For whatever reason, a door opened and the super became natural. What an amazing ride - Manifesting, Co-creating, Connecting with the dynamic life force energy of Spirit in all forms.

While each of us resides in a separate physical package, at no time are we alone. When we choose not to talk about and share individual spiritual/paranormal/metaphysical experiences we miss opportunites to discover, explore, and upgrade the hidden aspects of our own innate, creative abilities.

When we are ready to see our own divine nature, we see the light is always on.
