John McCain & Condoleezza Rice, A Wining Team
The American public isn´t nearly as worried over who will be president as the pundits are. The public knows [first] the bureaucracies then congress are the real decision makers. For the most part presidents are scapegoats with authority to make requests and have some ability to push legislation forward. Otherwise they are at the bidding of congress and the mercy of the bureaucracies.
Condoleezza Rice is Obama´s and Hillary´s worst nightmare she´s blacker than Barack Obama and smarter than Hillary Clinton. What Democrats struggle to split apart Republicans would offer in one package with sanity thrown in for good measure.
Dr. Rice is well versed in economics having been the Proctor of Stanford University for several years. She understands budgeting and paying bills. Dr. Rice is more than qualified in international affairs, she know all the worlds important players. Dr. Rice is a team player, she followed her Generals orders listening and learning knowing that one day her turn may come and she could correct the errors made by the former. There´s nothing anyone can throw at Dr, Rice aside from lies that can stand the scrutiny of her record.
Dr. Rice may be the most qualified candidate for Vice President in America today. While Hillary and Obama have JD´s from Harvard Dr. Rice has nearly a dozen PhD´s from some of the most prestigious Universities in the country. Dr. Rice has made a formidable reputation for herself standing on the sidelines advising on great decisions, world altering decisions.
The media has never found a scintilla of scandal in Dr. Rice´s past, not even a J-walking ticket. The only infraction the media has been able to come up with is she´s either overdressed or underdressed [but never caught undressed.] I doubt Dr. Rice will have to explain her Ministers ill timed remarks. Nor will she have to back peddle her visits to the front lines. Let´s face it Dr. Rice is an exemplary example of what we´ve come to expect from our leaders, certainly not what we´ve had to become accustomed to accepting.
John McCain and Condoleezza Rice are both free of scandal. Any ghosts that may have haunted them in the past are long gone or have been explained away. The advantage for the Republican ticket is the voters know who and what Hillary Clinton is. They don´t know who or what Barack Obama is, or where he´s coming from.
For as much legitimacy as Hillary´s and Obama´s progressive programs have they had just as well try selling Hot Fudge Sundays to Polar Bears than to try selling progressive programs to congress.
Both McCain and Rice know how and when to push the envelope and when to back off. Until Hillary or Obama has enough power to repeal the constitution congress will still have the final say. We often wonder why presidential candidates make such grandiose pronouncements when they know they can´t produce. Do they think the voters are so dumb they don´t know bull-crap from chocolate bars? Do they think this is the voter´s first election?
The Sunday pundits say Condoleezza Rice is to closely associated with Bush´s policies to be a viable vice presidential choice. Actually the Bush policies aren´t as unpopular with the real voters as the media would have us believe. The current down turn in the economy isn´t any different than it was when Bush took over from Clinton. In 2000 the economy became stagnant for a while then recovered and flourished. Democrats refuse to look at the facts, primarily because the robust Bush economy was encouraged by reducing taxes. The Bush tax cuts brought in more income to the treasury than keeping taxes high would have, [ever.]
The first book in the Democratic Bible is "Thou shall Tax and Tax and Tax again!" History has proven many times over money in the hands of the public cerate´s prosperity, money in the hands of government bureaucrat´s increases poverty.
"A government that doesn´t trust its citizens is a government not worthy of its citizens trust!"
