New Covey Awards: contestants push to win

Author C. L. Vaughn has recently entered the New Covey Book Trailer Awards contest for their March drawing. A total of 24 authors have entered the March drawing and the videos genres run from romance, horror, to thrillers. The closing date for voting has been set as April 4th.

C. L. Vaughn´s book trailer for his soon to be finished Owen Ruger novel, The Baltazara Plateau, has been viewed over 11,000 times on Youtube and has been linked to several websites. His website, www.Alleywolf.com has received over 17,900+ visitor hits and several of his short stories have been published through Lulu Publishing and are being sold on Amazon.

The Baltazara Plateau: An Owen Ruger Novel

When employees of the South American Logging Company start to disappear on the Baltazara Plateau; the company´s Security Specialist, an ex-Marine named Owen Ruger, is sent into the jungle to investigate. Christopher L. Vaughn

Christopher L. Vaughn, known as C. L. Vaughn in his writing, is a lifetime resident of the Puget Sound and lives with his wife and son in the Sky Valley, an area nestled in the foot hills of the Cascade Mountains. At the age of 17 Chris earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and then joined the US Army Reserves as a Combat Engineer. He has made a career out of public service through the Security Industry and is employed by the Monroe School District.

Chris currently has several manuscripts underway in the action adventure genre, and several children's book manuscripts finished, as well as several self published short stories. He is a contributor to the online magazine Americanchronicle.com and 21 other affiliated online magazines,a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
