Life: The Cosmological Constant
The fundamental "unknown agent" we are missing appears to be the seed of the universe, which genotype generated the phenotype cosmic system for the production of human life in its own image, similarly as a seed creates a mighty tree for the purpose of self-reproduction.
Thus this seed cosmology tells us that the initial cause of the universe is a perpetual cosmic seed, and also the source of the basic forces and laws of nature. Because structure formation is the basic quality of life, this seed cosmology explains the cosmic system's formation, development and energetic expansion, as well as the common origin of all forms of life from one cosmic seed or universal common ancestor.
The proposal that a perpetual cosmic seed constitutes the genotype of the phenotype universe is in excellent agreement with the accurate data we have. Remarkably, it also agrees with the statements of enlightened world teachers, as well as with many ancient cosmologies.
According to Maori cosmology, for example, "In the Maori world whakapapa or lineage connects us all to every aspect of the universe from the beginning of time -- to the very first seed that created the universe. ... For it is the seed of life from which all things grow and, through which all things are connected. It is the seed that holds the potential of the universe" (www.maf.govt.nz/mafnet/unff-planted-forestry-meeting/conference-papers/maori-plantation-forestry.pdf).
In the Bhagavad Gita the very first seed that generated the universe is identified. As Krishna enlightened Prince Arjuna, we are immortals, because human life constitutes the seed of the universe: “There was never a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor any of these kings. Nor is there any future in which we shall cease to be.” Also he said, “O Arjuna, I am the divine seed of all lives. In this world, nothing animate or inanimate exists without me.”
In harmony with Krishna’s teachings, in the Bible we find that by Christ “all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, all things have been created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together" Col. 1:15-17. As Christ put it in Revelation 22:13, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
Also note what Anana, the chief scribe to Egypt’s Seti II, wrote on the subject of immortality: “Our religion teaches us that we live eternally. Now eternity, having no end, can have no beginning, it is a circle. Therefore if the one be true, namely that we live on, it would seem that the other must be true, namely that we have always lived.”
So human life’s eternity explains why there is no scientific explanation for the origin of life. Human life, being the seed of the universe, or the cosmic system’s input and output, is everlasting, and constitutes the cosmological constant. And whatever is everlasting and constant can’t have an origin.
Thus the existence of human life is undisputed factual evidence, and the immortality of human life has been disproved by no one. So if we teach that human life constitutes the seed of the universe, or its cosmological constant, then we have a scientific theory of creation that rests solidly on the existence of human life.
