How To Avoid Divorce – Stop Marriage Divorce

Ricky Lee
Many people divorce because they are either lazy or they lack any interest. People donīt take marriage as seriously as they used to. When they take their vows and they get married people enter a life-long and sacred pact. A lot of marriages are done because of convenience, pressure or as a cover. And in some cases they marry just because it can be a good show (Hollywood is an example). Yes, some people marry just because their family thinks itīs the right thing to do.

You should make sure that you get rid of all your doubts before the wedding day. You might have cold feet and wonder if youīre wrong about it, as many others do. Itīs not something rare, as it happens to a lot of people. You need to find out why youīre feeling this way. Maybe the ceremony is making you nervous. Or maybe you donīt know if the partner you chose is right for you. You should find out what is it before you say "I Do".

You shouldnīt get married just to please other people, even if itīs about a child out of wedlock, money or partner pressure. And thatīs because whatever is holding you back will remain so even after your marriage. This will be a great cause of stress and strain after youīre married.

A lot of couples find it difficult to resolve the problems that they encounter. Many believe that after they get married their troubles will magically disappear. But a simple piece of paper doesnīt make it go away. More than that, plenty of people have more problems after they get married than before. Donīt think that all the problems will go away once youīre married. Itīs a fragile thing to enter into and both sides need to collaborate on it to make it work. Some couple even go as far as taking counseling before taking this step, to make sure the problems are solved before the wedding.

We know that there are some weddings that just canīt be saved. Some problems can be dangerous or complex and just canīt be solved. Still, if you consider taking any problem as a possibility instead of simply diving into the marriage, and talk with your loved one, you might be able to fix the problem.

Talk with your future partner about all kinds of possible problems and how you should manage them if they arrive. If she isnīt open to talk about it, you might not be able to fix these problems after youīre married. You need to face any inconvenient topics and address them. Keep in mind that people donīt change just because they get married. They remain the same as they always been. So if they are liars or abusive, this will not change as they canīt really help themselves. Donīt just ignore a possible danger, face it and make sure you want that marriage. You might want to set some unwritten rules to make sure as much as possible goes OK. Some people might consider this a bit too much control, but these rules can bring you closer together.

If you have a marriage with problems, look for marriage counseling or talk with someone that can help you. If you donīt work on these, they will only get worse. If youīre abused, you should get out while you can. Youīre the most important thing and so are your children, so donīt let yourself be abused. Look for counseling for your children and yourself. Donīt let abuse keep going, itīs really not worth it.

The conclusion is that in any marriage there should be compromise. There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. You just have to work around the problems that you disagree on and donīt let them get the marriage down. Know before you get married that there will be problems, you just have to deal with them.
