Is "Green" Food, Fuel or Fraud

The controversy still rages over what kind of fuel we will use to power the engines of industry and transportation. It´s beginning to look as though the argument over global warming is running out of steam if this winter is an example. Scientists with more than University degrees in liberal arts backing them up are beginning to question the data pertaining to global warming. Much of what the advocates of global warming know is based on computer graphic data or in layman´s terms "What If." Does the world want to stake its economic future on computer data created with an agenda in mind? There are those who turn fear into cash cows. Fear is a runaway train, truth moves at a much slower pace and more proficiency.
Those who spread the doom and gloom of global warming give little credit for the advances made in the past half century cleaning the environment of pollution it seems to some something is never enough. Hysteria isn´t going to do much while technology will do everything. Given time and recourses those bright young men and women who stay in the class rooms and laboratories, and off the protest lines and out of the way of the media will in the end prevail in our being clean without giving up an essential product to man´s survival........... OIL!
Oil isn´t just what we fuel our cars and heats our homes with. Oil provides a thousand other essential products we´ve come to accept in our daily lives. The nations, [worlds] dependency on oil is something never mentioned by the environmentalists, [GW advocates] They would have us believe oil is as evil as any pandemic ever to be visited on mankind. Just the opposite is true oil is as essential to mankind´s survival as water sun and vegetation. As a source of manufacturing material oil is the single most important element on and in earth. Over 60% of the products manufactured are derived from oil by-products.
Extracting oil from vegetation to replace the petroleum coming from out of the ground can´t possible satisfy the worlds needs and still provide food. It comes down to making a choice do we want clean air or food, food necessary to feed the worlds masses? There´s no guarantee automobiles create all the carbon emissions supposedly polluting the atmosphere, nature may have a hand in it as well.
When the environmentalists and political whacko´s move on to other fear mongering things then perhaps the experts will have an opportunity to investigate and separate fact from fiction. There´s no question we must all be vigilant in protecting the earth and it´s bounties we have been given. Hysteria and over zealousness isn´t the way to solve the problems that may or may not be lurking out there. After all man has been existing on the planet for millions of years and may or may not have bent it at times but man has yet to break what nature has provided and it´s doubtful they every will. Nature has a way of showing man who´s the boss. When man oversteps his authority nature has a way of giving him or her a thump on the head.
It´s time to stop listening to the nay-sayers and do some realistic thinking of what is and what isn´t feasible. It doesn´t take a genius to understand a gallon of oil contains more mass than a gallon of corn and therefore produces more usable product. Nor does it take a genius to understand the acers of land it takes to produce enough alcohol to supply the world´s automobiles with the necessary fuel oil is producing today. When and if the masses ever start thinking instead of listening they will realize they´re being had. It´s all about politics both personal and professional.
Most of the automobile manufactures have been producing fuel efficient cars for several years, both small fuel efficient sub-compacts and hybrids. The public isn´t buying them, what´s to be done, are our personal rights to be suspended and are we to be forced to drive mini-cars to satisfy the hysteria of a few self appointed Gods?
There are only two reasons for persons to appoint themselves mans keepers, one is money. These movements usually attract financial assistance from persons who don´t know but aren´t taking any chances. The second is notoriety, some people just can´t stand to be average but have neither skill nor talent to move into the big time. Instead they pray on the fears of others.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt said it best when he said ………."The only thing we have to fear is fear it´s self." With time patients and knowledge eventually it all works it´s self out.
