Open Letter to Michael Reagan

Thor H. Asgardson
Dear Mr. Reagan,

I just read your article: Ronald Reagan Would Back McCain. Please allow me to respectfully disagree with your attempt to unify two diametrically opposed factions within the Republican Party.

I do not wish to be a presumptive stranger in contradicting the eldest son of our great president, who knows best what his father would have done; yet I must completely disagree with you that supporting McCain is in the best interest of the country.

Your illustrious father--who will always live in the hearts of his countrymen--may very well have opted in favor of supporting RINO John McCain--even vigorously campaigning for him. I cannot dispute this.

Those who love the memory of your father as I do, are still not going to get on the McCain bandwagon--no matter what. We simply don't like him, nor do we like the way he shoves Mexican invasion down our throats.

He alone, may stay in Iraq for a hundred years.

Debra Saunders calls the alienated elements within the Republican Party, the "Kiddie Wing," accusing us of failure to face reality, because of our "precious feelings" and "bitter-to-the-end purity of Republican principles." She exhibits the same condescending attitude you castigated, when you accused John McCain of adopting the imperious ways of a "wise father," speaking AT the son, from lofty heights of the Elysian Fields. In fact, you resented him for it.

"I despise his habit of talking down to us, like a wise father to an idiot son. He´s just at a loss to understand why everybody doesn´t grovel at his feet and accept his every word as wisdom handed down from his lofty perch atop Mt. Olympus."

I looked to the man who made this bold statement, as true presidential timber, and a future candidate for our consideration--still do. You're okay; he's not.

In a nutshell; you said it best, when you stated: "He has contempt for conservatives who he thinks can be duped into thinking he´s one of them, despite such blatantly anti-conservative actions as his support for amnesty for illegal immigrants, his opposition to the Bush tax cuts which got the economy rolling again, and his campaign finance bill which skewed the political process and attacked free speech."

Well as long as speech remains free... I think it prudent to tell this Manchurian Candidate to go straight to Hell, and take the Council on Foreign Relations with him.

Sorry to rain on your parade of reconciliation, but this rebel remains unrepentant--even if it means the so-called "end" of a dead political party. It is a fact of history that the Republican Party immolated, when it became the party of big government, big business and empire. It is unacceptable in its present form, to real conservatives.

Now we are to consider the Manchurian Candidate who told Patrick J. Buchanan--the greatest American--to "...just leave the Republican Party?"

McCain wants us to enable him--The Great Enabler of Mexican Invasion-- to attain the great ascendancy to heaven on earth and immortal fame, known more popularly as "the presidency of the United States of America."

What a great resume title for one's headstone. It is really something to consider, when one fathoms the generations to succeed oneself, in the family photo album.

McCain's descendants will be able to boast that he did not attain the rank of admiral--remaining only a captain--because he became the supreme captain of our ship of state.

Far better your descendants vaunt of an American president in their bloodlines, rather than the pathetic truth be told, that McCain informed the North Vietnamese enemy he was the son of a Navy admiral.

John McCain wants the ultimate self actualization of ego wish-fulfillment in assuming the mantle of your father. Never mind that he holds conservatives and the American people in ultimate contempt, when he states that we will be embroiled in Iraq for the next century. He would defy the wishes of the electorate to anoint himself as another "War President," presiding over a quagmire.

If that were not enough; he will enable the final reconquista of the American heartland, and when that happens; President Carter's transgressions will be regarded with no more concern than the schoolboy prank of walloping a swimming rabbit over the head with a canoe paddle.

"You know how bad things have got when Jimmy Carter's critique of your presidency is taken seriously. This week the former US President attacked the current one, saying that, 'as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world', George Bush´s Administration had been 'the worst in history'. It´s one thing to have to listen to Bill and Hillary Clinton claim that things were better when they were in the White House, but Jimmy Carter? Being told by Mr Carter that you´re the worst president in history is like being told by William McGonagall that your poetry stinks.

For many Americans, the Carter critique rings true. They wonder whether, finally, this is it for America. Whether two terms of George Bush may have done for the superpower what the Great Depression, fascism, communism and Jimmy Carter failed to do: sow the seeds of its destruction."

You cannot take back your words, which have been immortalized for history: That is the price we all must pay, who would see our name in print:

" McCain must think conservatives are dumb enough to allow him to get away with claiming he's one of them."

If we are not that dumb; why on earth would we coalesce around him now?

Let me refresh your memory as to what you have actually said about McCain: "In John McCain´s eyes, conservatives are the Viet Cong of this generation and he treats us as such. It´s either his way or no way."

Sounds like that kind of post traumatic stress disorder could pose a potential liability toward unifying a political party and governing a country.

Well, the feeling is mutual from this end. "I know not what course others may take...," but give me Ron Paul, or I will personally attempt to sabotage the Rockefeller Party, as Goldwater is all but ignored in those wings.

Real conservatives know that McCain is a counterfeit of conservative philosophy, with as much political capital as a Chinese Hell Banknote. We know he's a cranky, foul-mouthed old jerk who is making nice, just so he can be Big Cheese.

I think your father would have been committed to the preservation of the United States of America, not the degeneration now seen within the Republican Party, which is now officially dead, as it has been hijacked by David Rockefeller's Council on Foreign Relations.

Your father did not like the CFR, anymore than Barry Goldwater did, and McCain is their storefront for clandestine operations which will deliver America to the NAU/SPP.

You said: "We are still suffering from the legacy of James Earl Carter, thanks to the conservatives who refused to follow Ronald Reagan´s example and instead sulked at home while the nation was being handed over to the worst president in American history."

Wrong! The worst president in U.S. history is George W. Bush, and John McCain is ten times a more virulent strain than "Dubya." We are suffering from the legacy of George W. Bush, who opened our borders to the Mexican annexation of America!

You also said: "We were still in the middle of the Cold War in those days, and by staying home conservatives risked losing that war by allowing an incompetent leader to become commander in chief."

We do not sulk, but vote our conscience--and still get no respect-- yet we are expected to hand out respect freely to one who colludes with big business, and conspires to build his resume on the fire sale of our country.

John McCain is an incompetent leader who will completely destroy what is left of our country, by gifting Mexican invaders with American citizenship. That is a fact, for he has not answered the second part of the question, when he said that first, he would secure the border.

The American people know his answer must remain silent for the time being, for he would never be elected were the real truth to be known by humble "German peasants."

You also said: "That´s exactly what they´ll get if they sit out the election and stay home on Election Day. That´s called biting off your nose to spite your face. Or even more to the point, political suicide."

To many Americans, the Marxist nightmare is indistinguishable from a McCain presidency. The alleged "political suicide" we face, is not in failing to elect this imposter, as the Republican Party hacks have already committed suicide with the so-called "comprehensive" capitulation to invasion of our shores by Mexico.

The cheeky Mexican president has paid us a meddling visit, disguised as a social call, while ignoring all pertinent American dignitaries. Such is the modus operandi of these so-called "Ambassadors of Peace," who refuse to sign terms of Mexican surrender.

A vote for McCain is a vote for Mexican reconquista, and the overlordship of big business over the will of the American people. The American people will remain governed by their inferiors, no matter which way they turn toward unworthy suitors for relief.

"Four years later Ronald Reagan took over, the hostages were immediately released, and he went on to win the Cold War. Now we have another world-wide war going on with a hidden enemy sworn to kill us all, and the policy of the Democrats running for the presidency is to throw up their hands and withdraw from the battlefield, leaving it to the enemy — and our fate in the hands of Osama bin Laden."

Wrong again! It is not necessarily the "policy of the Democrats." The American people are sick-to-death of this Iraq war, and we want our troops out of that meat grinder/tar baby-of-a-sectarian civil war. We want our economy to stop hemorrhaging treasure into the Mesopotamian sands.

You congratulate us for winning the Cold War, as the Russian Federation and Red China arm themselves to the teeth, just in case their hostile corporate takeover of our strategic assets proves to be not enough. Their alleged "retreat," was simply a strategy taken straight from the pages of the Iliad of Homer.

Their manner of "retreat" in that war, should be emulated by us--with a change in direction out of Iraq, and toward Waziristan--in order to avoid a big war with Iran, which McCain will give us.

We think the enemy has chosen the field of engagement in this struggle, and that our national obsession with Iraq, is a fixed fortification mentality, as a "monument to man's stupidity," as General George S. Patton once observed.

It is a red herring at best, to suppose that a failure by conservatives to vote for McCain, will mean the fall of Western Civilization. It is clearly time to break the two party grip of the oligarchy, and vote for what we want--not the lesser of two evils.

At least the Democrats have their eyes on the ball, with Obama talking of going into the tribal areas of Pakistan. It is Pakistan which is the axis of this war--not Iran nor Iraq. That axis is also the homefront, which has been overrun by Mexican invaders.

What profit a man if he gain the world, but lose his soul? America is losing it's soul and cultural identity to the Mexican incursion.

The last thing the American people need is another enabler of that "Reconquista." John McCain has teamed with Senator Edward M. Kennedy to sell out our nation in the true war which threatens our national existence: The Second Mexican War.

The American people are between the Devil and the deep dark sea, and there is NO salvation for our country, with a McCain presidency, nor with an Obama stewardship.

"P.S. If I am so fortunate as to be the Republican nominee for president, I intend to lead our party to victory in November guided by our shared conservative principles."

We share nothing with this foul-mouthed, abrasive imposter, who poses as a conservative. He will not gain the laurel of victory, for he has built his fortune on stopping his ears to the cries of the American people, who demand an end to the Mexican annexation of America.

Those of us who harbor true conservative principles, will be voting for the Libertarian, Ron Paul.

I think I like your original assessment of McCain best, rather than this "new and improved" version.

Yours for a better choice of candidates,

Thor H. Asgardson
