EMERILS -- THE BEST DAMN RESTAURANT IN SOUTH BEACH
Everything from the appetizers to the entree was absolute perfection (the dessert could have learned a thing or two from the Ritz Carlton's Bistro One or Jason's unbelievable flour-less chocolate cake) but everything else was just incredible. I don't even like filet but the one at Emeril's made me want to lick the plate. The hostess Asha was incredibly beautiful and the server Raphael was probably the best server I've ever had in my life (and so cute too!)
I suggest you get the special sampler they have which includes over 4 courses and a dessert as well as a delicious cheese plate (it's funny the older and moldier the cheese the more expensive it is). Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant. The scallops are to die for. Yes, it is officially a Cajun or Creole style restaurant but for those worried about the food being too spicy there are enough dining choices on the menu to consider.
There is so much attention to detail given at Emeril's the servers do not just sit around when they're not serving they polish the plates and align the dishes and silverware just so, I was very impressed and the like the servers and bartender at incredible Ola Restauarant, the servers Emeril's act like they actually WANT to work at the restaurant not like they HAVE to.
However, although they have an extensive wine list at Emeril's I don't know if it was just the 7 or at glasses of white I tried that evening or if it was the selection itself but none of them were to my liking at all.
Regardless, the food the service really out-weighed the very few short comings (that was until I got the check! My oh my, it was probably more than I've ever paid for a meal and almost as much as my monthly rent. But it was worth it)
Food: 5 stars (I would give it 6 stars if I could)
Service: 5 Stars (I would give it 10 stars if I could)
Ambience: 5 Stars (incredible dining experience)
