JASON'S RESTAURANT AT THE HARRISON
I was immediately greeted warmly by the host and the server turned out to be a true delight. Everything from the appetizers to the entree to the dessert menu was by far one of the very best I've tasted, not only in South Beach but ever. It really was that good. The chef himself, Jason, is not unknown to come out and greet his guests. With such refined dining I expected a French snob, quite frankly and was pleasantly surprised to find that Chef Jason, was incredibly down to earth. He seemed like, well, a plumber, which is what he actually was years ago before he tossed the plunger aside and studied under the wing of some of the best chef's in Manhattan. He has since then been chef at the Four Seasons, at the Shore Club and other top of the line restaurants in South Beach.
He seems to be the type of guy who would be your best friend, you could pal around with an have a beer and not what you would expect. That's why when I was privileged to try his cuisine and discovered it to be so sensational I vowed to myself to let everyone I possibly could know about this new undiscovered restaurant in South Beach right across the street from China Grill on 5th & Washington.
