Yahoo´s free reverse phone search service is located on their white pages - Yahoo People Search - and is located at http://people.yahoo.com. At Yahoo People Search you can not only do a reverse number search, you can also perform a Phone and Address search as well as an email search.
Conducting a reverse phone search with Yahoo is a very straightforward process, and can be done as follows:
Make sure you have the area code and phone number of the individual you are looking up
Connect to the internet and access the Yahoo People Search site
Enter the number and area code into the search box that is provided (I.E. 111-111-1111) and click the "Reverse Phone Search" button, or hit the "enter" button on your keyboard.
Yahoo will search its database and load a new page with its results.
If the number you entered returns successful results, you will be provided with the person´s name (either the full name or the last name and first initial), the state and city they are located in, and sometimes an address will be given. However, this is the extent of the personal information you will be provided with.
Yahoo will also give you a map and directions that match the address that has been provided. If no address is given, the map will approximate where the individual is located. In addition, Yahoo allows you to add the person you searched for to your address book. Simply click on the link provided, sign into your Yahoo account and follow the instructions.
