Alleged Drug Dealer Hands Out Business Cards

Robert Paul Reyes
A businessman without business cards is like a clown without a red nose and floppy shoes. Any businessman worth his salt, will have tricks up his sleeve and a fancy business card at the ready.

Many drug dealers fancy themselves businessmen, but it behooves them not to buy an advertisement in the Yellow Pages or to hand out business cards.

Sylvester J. Williams, 21, of Leavenworth Kansas apparently never enrolled in Drug Dealing 101. He never learned that it doesn't pay to advertise when you are selling an illegal product.

How was this alleged small-time drug dealer caught by the police? Was his arrest the result of hundreds of hours of undercover surveillance?

Sylvester was handing out business cards with the slogan "For a quick hit on time call the boss."

A cop called the boss, set up a buy and quickly hit him with an arrest. He was charged with possessing crack cocaine with the intent to sell it.

Sylvester may not have the brains to succeed in business, but he certainly has initiative and determination. If he is found guilty and incarcerated, I hope he will spend his time behind bars to learn a useful trade.
