Who Can Blame Mitt Romney for Bowing Out

Why would a man spend 100 million dollars of his own money to save this country from a socialist run government when the public seems to want it that way? The attractive candidates seem to be Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barrack Obama and Mike Huckabee all with abusive taxing and obtrusive big government leanings. If this is what the majority of the public wants then let them have it. When their taxes are taking the majority of their pay checks and their rights are taken from them they have no one to blame but themselves.
This country doesn´t have to go very far back in history to remember the Jimmy Carter Administration when there was a double digit in inflation, unemployment and interest rates, when energy prices went through the roof. When the American government capitulated to new dictators in Iran and Panama. The Carter years were the worst of times. When this new president [sans Mitt Romney] is elected it will be a repeat of the Carter years. The Ronald Reagan / Newt Gingrich revolution will have been for nothing, socialism will raise its ugly head once more and freedom will be a memory.
America was founded on the belief all men were created equal to peruse the vast opportunities the country offered. Not that all men should share equally regardless of their efforts or lack of. There´s nothing in the constitution guaranteeing the underachievers a free ride throughout their lives. Much of what these liberal candidates running for president propose is in direct violation of the constitution. What they propose flies in the face of our personal freedoms and states rights. This country is no longer "Of the People, By the People and For the People." When this 2008 election has been decided we can erase those words from the history books, they will be meaningless.
Liberalism is the scourge of free people everywhere and it´s a creeping cancer on our government allowed to grow by lazy uncaring self-indulgent voters who prefer quantity over quality. It´s taken 75 years to get us to this position where we´ve sacrificed life limb and our national treasure in the pursuit of mans freedoms. The liberals are willing to set it all aside for total government control. To forsake courage for cowardly conduct in the pursuit of a perceived peace that isn´t going to happen. Our enemies understand liberalism and know how to manipulate its advocates to their advantage.
If 9/11 and Americas subsequent actions proved nothing else it proved the terrorists where quick to take advantage of what they believed to be a weak Bush administration and slow to follow up when they found the opposite to be true. The terrorists were quick to direct their efforts on other nations when America struck back. America has taken the lead in defending the world from the terrorists, the peaceniks are undermining our efforts.
Switzerland is one of the most peaceful nations on earth, every man between the ages of 18 and 45 is a military reservist and keeps their weapons in their homes ready when and if the call to arms is ever given. Most of Europe has hung onto the presence of the American Military for more than a half century allowing them to peruse peaceful pursuits while Americans assumed their risks. When liberals decimate our military who will send their army´s to protect us? The threats of war aren´t about to go away, at least not in the foreseeable future. We´ve seen the effects of peace negotiation over the years and how they have been honored, or not. As long as there´s something to be gained through force there will be those willing to risk all to take it.
It´s a shame the majority of the voters are so lazy and indifferent they can´t see the writing on the walls. The government can only give what they take from us. When the government takes so much from the producers it´s no longer worth the effort the producers will join the takers and then where will the goodies come from.
Mitt Romney was and is willing to invest his own money to put America on a sound financial footing. McCain, Clinton and Obama are out to strip the country of all its incentives for achievement in the name of Liberalism.
Wake up America it´s your country not theirs, if it´s worth living here its worth working to keep it free of big government high taxes and over barring politicians
