Due to the popularity of the device, it would make a lot of sense for the cell phone carriers, or for the state itself to create a Minnesota-wide directory of all the cellular phone numbers, so that people could search it in the same way that they use online search sites and traditional white pages to search for land line numbers.
There are, however, sites available to help with this slight discrepancy in information availability.
