Marijuana Trade Show In Amsterdam A Big Hit
Pot samples sure beats the bits of microwaved frozen pizza handed out at Wal-Mart.
The Netherlands is more sophisticated and enlightened than the United States -- we have Tupperware parties, they have Pot Fairs.
I don't envision going to a marijuana trade show in America anytime in the near future, I can only image what it would be like.
I guess there would be vending machines dispensing Doritos, Cheetos and Ding Dongs everywhere you turn.
There would be no need for security, everybody would have a laid back attitude.
There might be a stand hawking "self-help" books with titles like, "Dude, How You Can Graduate from College In Only 10 Years."
Instead of a map with a red arrow reading "You Are Here", there would be a map with a question mark with a caption reading: "Dude, I Have No Idea Where You Are."
Snatches of conversation at the reefer fair: "Dude, is that a bong in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?" "There is a lost little girl in front of the bong stand, she answers to the name 'Rainbow'".
Maybe one day, in the distant future, Americans will be able to attend Pot Fairs in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and even in small towns like Lynchburg, VA.
