Generally people desire to lead a healthy life and for that they have involved themselves in simple fitness exercises. These exercises help them in leading a healthy life. To have a fit body, stretching exercises can help to a great extent and with this one can also regulates his increasing weight. By regular exercising you can lose your extra weight that troubles you most of the times. Simple workouts and yoga assists in remaining fit and having healthy body as these make a lot of difference in one’s life. Some people use different types of medications like pills and diet controls to help them in reducing weight. According to World health organization (WHO) health is defined as a state of complete physical, social, and mental well being that not merely is the absence of disease or infirmity.

In medical terms health is commonly called homeostasis which is described as a total state of human well being. It is organism’s ability that helps them in responding to different stressors thus restores and holds a state of perfect balance effectively. There are various aspects of health that include mental, physical and social attributes. Proper nutrition intake is an effective way to lead a fit and healthy life as it affects a person’s performance and functioning of body system. Unhealthy eating habits deteriorate health and are the major cause of diseases like obesity, heart attacks, diabetes etc. One should take dietary supplements and food products that meliorate their body performance, prevent diseased state and promotes its healthy condition. Different nutrients in food like vitamins, minerals, fibres, carbohydrates, fats and other elements have their own roles in sustaining healthy and fit life. Intake of fibrous foods decline risks of colon cancers whereas vitamin C strengthens gums and teeth and meliorates immunity of the body.


Between vertex of health and death from malnutrition there is present a whole array of diseased states that are alleviated by improper alterations in diet. Excesses, deficiencies and imbalances in your diet can have negative impacts on your health which further leads to a diseased state such as obesity, scurvy, and various behavioural and psychological problems. Ingestion of excessive nutrient elements which have no important role in maintaining health can also incur lethal effects. Elements like mercury, lead, dioxins are potential toxins which when taken in excess can lead to serious ailments. Therefore it is important to keep a check on your diet so that it benefits you.
