Tips for Starting an Internet Home Business Fast and Easy

Bruce Swedal
Before you get started you need to understand a few basic things. If you want to have a business on the internet, you need to have a website. Here is where most people get discouraged and stop. They think that making a website will be either difficult or expensive. The truth is that it does not have to be either. It can be easy and free and to show you let’s get your first website going right now.

An easy way to create your fee website is by visiting Blogger.com so open another window and go there now.

On that main page there will be a button that says create your blog now. Click on that button and fill in the information requested on the next page. When finished there go ahead and press the continue button. On this page you will need to enter your blog address and the title of your blog. Be creative as they can be whatever you want. After that you will need to enter the visual confirmation and click the continue button. This next page is fun because you get to choose how your blog will look. When you have decided just click on continue and your website is finished.

On this page there will be a place you can click labeled start posting. After you click on this it will move you to a new page and ask if you want to add content to your website. At this point choose a title for your post and start writing. There are many tools you can use on this page to adjust fonts, format, link or add graphics such as pictures. When you complete your post click the publish post button. Your new page is now posted on your new website. Go ahead and click on that button labeled view blog and you will see how your website looks. Go ahead and do this for as many posts as you want as many times as you want.

I know what you’re thinking now. You are thinking I have a website, but not a business. Why don’t we go ahead and turn that into a business for you?

Go back to your blogger account. There will be a template tab there so click on that. Look around on this page and you will see a link for ad-sense to click. Follow the instructions there for starting up your ad-sense account and when you are done click on that save button. The following page will have a button to republish, so click on that now. Now when you take a look at your live website you will see the Google ad-sense on every page. Whenever a visitor to your site clicks on one of the Google ads you will earn some ad-sense revenue. So now you have an online business that can make you money which took about 20 minutes to set up.

Now the one thing you still need is traffic to your website so here are a couple tips for that.

For people to visit your website they first have to know about it so make sure that you let all the major blog directories know about it by visiting pingomatic.com. There you should enter your blog name and address. Check the applicable boxes and click on the button to send pings. Since you just notified them of new content you should start to see some traffic from those interested in the content. This is something for you to do every time you add new content to your site.

Now start establishing links to your blog by visiting other blogger sites. Read their posts and make some comments that are relevant while adding your website address. This will give other visitors a link to your website and an avenue for them to visit. Do this to create as many links back to your blog as you want.

This just proves to you how quickly and easily the process can be done. There are other advanced ways to do this, but this will give you a starting point to grow from. Access additional business resources here.
