Another Controversial 50 Cent Billboard

Robert Paul Reyes
A British advertising watchdog organization has criticized gangsta rapper 50 cent for a controversial billboard.

The billboard shows rap star "50 Cent" shirtless, with his bullet scarred back facing the camera, a gun tucked in his jeans and a baby over his shoulder.

The poster for his film, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," condones and glorifies violence.

You would think a man who survived being shot nine times, would learn to abhor violence, but apparently love of money and fame trumps common sense and decency.

The poster symbolizes the cycle of violence that permeates the inner city, a father with a gun tucked in his baggy jeans will bring up children who shoot each other over a pair of $200 sneakers.

The rap star is no stranger to controversy, in November, a billboard company in Philadelphia removed 21 billboards promoting the thug's same album and film. That poster showed him with a gun in one hand and a microphone in the other.

50 Cent could appear in a poster that shows him reading a book to a young child, but of course that wouldn't be cool and it wouldn't sell any records.
