Interview with Actress Katherine Willis

Cassandra Bell
Bell: You have been an actress in several exciting films. What were some of the most challenging scenes for you and why?

Willis: Interestingly, every project has its own challenges and rewards. I remember working with the Farrelly brothers on "The Ringer" knowing that there was no way to fake funny and praying that I could deliver. It ended up being a great time.

Bell: You were a nurse on the movie "Sin City." Any comments about that?

Willis: Just that Robert Rodriguez is the shizzle. I had worked with him before on "The Faculty". The entire shoot was quick because we didn't have to worry about props or lighting because of the green screens. You can see me in the Recut and Extended version of That Yellow Bastard.

Bell: You played the role of Cassie Anders on the popular 1992 television series "Miracles & Other Wonders." Is there anything you would like to share about your role in that series?

Willis: It was nice to be part of a project that brought a little hope and comfort to people who were drawn to it. Not enough of that.

Bell: Any memorable moments on or off the set of any of the films?

Willis:I won't go into detail, but I had a really interesting day with Billy Bob Thornton on the set of "Friday Night Lights". A reporter for GQ who was visiting set that day mentioned it in her article:

Bell: With what other actors/actresses have you become acquainted?

Willis: I walk away from most shoots having made one or two amazing friendships. There are some truly extraordinary people I get to share time with.

Bell: In what other shows/movies have you been in or starred?

Willis: You can check out my site or IMDb...I'm not much of one to toot my own horn:

Bell: Anything else you would like to share with us?

Willis: Thanks for getting in touch. This was a lot of fun!
