RANCHO CUCAGMONGA – Sen. Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga) will be honoring those local businesses that stepped up and contributed generously to the relief efforts for the victims of the recent fires.

The Senator will be acknowledging these businesses at a brief ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, December 12 at his District Office at 8577 Haven Avenue, Suite 210, in Rancho Cucamonga. The presentation will take place during the Senator’s open house scheduled from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

I was so grateful to see such a quick response by so many to the dire circumstances faced by the fire victims,” said Senator Dutton. “The generosity shown by these businesses in filling the needs of the affected community has strengthened my sense of pride in representing the extraordinary people here in the 31st Senate District.”

The donations took many forms, from pillows and blankets to cots and sleeping bags, clothing, toothpaste and toothbrushes, diapers and baby food, and pet food and supplies. These contributions went a long way in providing comfort and help to the thousands of families and individuals who had been displaced on short notice, or who had lost their homes and possessions to the fires.

I am sincerely grateful for the help and concern shown by these companies, and I am uplifted by their real life demonstration of the American Spirit,” continued Dutton.
