Osama Bin Laden's Niece Wants Acceptance From Americans, So She Posed For GQ
For example, some people would do things they never thought they would do like taking a liking for a genre of music they have not cared for prior to attempting to gain acceptance by a certain group of persons. Or something else such as consuming a substance or beverage they have been warned not to ingest.
Osama Bin Laden’s niece, Wafah Dufour said she wants to gain acceptance from Americans, so she posed for the January 2006 edition of GQ magazine.
As a woman coming from such a conservative Moslem background, she should be commended for her bravery for making such a daring move, but some persons in our midst might wonder, what type of acceptance is she seeking?
All of you must have seen the photo already. It's all over the internet, and the longer one looks at the picture, one may ponder for a moment about acceptance.
Is it the respectable type of acceptance from respectable Americans she is seeking? Or is she trying to attract a different crowd.
I can understand her wanting to make a departure from her notorious Uncle, but perhaps a woman of her bloodline might stand a better chance of gaining the type of acceptance she is seeking by doing something that will enable her to obtain some respectable acceptance.
Sometimes when some people try to do something as unexpected as what Wafah Dufour has by posing for a men’s magazine, they might give others in the public eye a different impression. One that could be indicative of disrespect to oneself.
Wanting to make a break from her ties with Osama Bin Laden is one thing, but maybe she should keep her clothes on and do something that will really shock her Uncle such as donating her time and efforts to help make this a better world. As opposed to stripping down and baring it all to gain a different type of acceptance.
