Chemtrail Survey

From the first time I saw a white, ropey trail splayed across the sky, my main question has been, why do some of us see them and some of us don’t. Many debunkers state that the lines in the sky have always been there, with increasing frequency as air travel has become more popular and the reason we didn’t see them is because we didn’t look up. But as I’ve studied the anomaly one thread I have found common in those that see chemtrails is concern, an instinctual knowledge that whatever they are, they are not right.
My mind has looked at chemtrails through a hundred different lenses and I’ve considered some odd scenarios, but the thing that tugs my imagination is why we are suddenly becoming aware of them. Some say the lines have always littered the skies, others say the chemtrail project began in the 90s, but for myself, I didn’t notice the marred sky until 2006. Funny thing is, I recently noticed them in photographs taken from as far back as 2001, but while taking the landscape snapshots, I did not see the trails, why? If the debunkers are correct and the lines have always existed, why didn’t I see them? And if the aerosol spray investigators are correct and they’ve been in our sky since the 1990s, why did I not notice until 2006?
I have to admit I heard rumors of the spray program before I read of it on the Internet and I read about chemtrails before I actually saw the manifestation of ugly, littered skies, so I have wondered if perhaps I could not see them until I knew they existed. I’ve also wondered if waking up to the deceptions in society is what causes us to suddenly be aware of the writing over our heads. I’ve pondered both the ideas that they are being sprayed precisely to wake us up or on the other hand, to prevent that waking. I’ve considered the idea that chemtrails are part of the signs in the sky mentioned in ancient prophecies and those that see the signs are being called to fulfill some destiny or another.
I’ve played with the idea that we are experiencing some type of evolution and that the lines in our skies are actually wakes in the water of some advanced civilization and as we have not risen from the murky depths, we can’t pull ourselves out onto the slimy shores. I have read that some children refer to the ropey trails in our skies as “rocket smoke” so the thought has crossed my mind that they could be correct and we are seeing some type of craft, cloaked to appear as an airplane, busily fulfilling secret agendas. But with all these speculative ramblings and many more, my thoughts return again and again to the fact that I didn’t see them for years, even though they hung over my head and to this day, millions still do not see them.
Many brave souls have taken on the responsibility of defining the scribbles in our skies, but for me, the chemtrail/contrail debate grows long, circular and frustrating, the fact is, people will see what they see. And the idea that they are simply contrails and I just never saw them before opens strange doors in my mind. Does that mean all types of viewable phenomena are playing out all around us and we just can’t see them because we don’t know they exist? If that is the case, then it certainly yanks a big hole in what most of us know as reality. Or could it be that there is something to the idea that chemtrails are being used to dumb us down, increase our apathy, manipulate our mental conditioning and close our vision?
Many debunkers of the chemtrail theory state that it is a delusion, an illusion or some unnamed political agenda that inspires people to claim chemtrail over contrail, but I have to wonder what causes a hand full of people, scattered across the globe and unconnected to each other, to look into the sky and feel the same instinctual fear, anger and concern. I have always felt there is a deeper thread running through those that are becoming aware of the lines in the sky and I suspect that connection goes beyond culture, political leanings, sex or religion.
So in an attempt to discover that elusive connecting thread I have created a survey. Both believers in the chemtrail theories and non-believers are welcome to participate; a comment section is included to state such beliefs. The survey will be available for a month or until I receive the specified amount of responses, whichever comes first. No registration is required and no email information is gathered from this survey, I am simply seeking to unravel a mystery of perception.
