"A Mighty Heart "

Many of the films are based on action, romance and ultimate glory, this one is about frustration and impotence. Respectable, information-packed and unavoidably emotional, the movie is about the kidnapping and killing of the Wall Street Chief Reporter "Daniel Pearl" who stayed in Pakistan in 2002 to research a story about the shoe bomber Richard Reid. On January 23rd , 2002 Daniel Pearl (Dan Futterman) is kidnapped from a restaurant in Karachi, Pakistan by some anti-american terrorist group and the search for him starts the minute he is kidnapped. Daniel's Wife Mariane (played by Angelina Jolie) who is a journalist herself personally gets involved in the investigation. Mariane accompanied by her friend Azra (played by Archie Panjabi) , an indian-american journalist whose apartment becomes a nerve center the day Daniel is kidnapped . along with a Pakistani police offiical (played by Irrfan Khan) and an American agent (Will Patton) and Daniel's Boss(who offers encouragement without much reason),the team together tries hard to find Daniel Pearl. Filmed on the teemed up streets of Pakistan , India and France, the movie is directed by the versatile British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom who has been the mastermind behind the controversial docu-drama "The Road To Guantanamo". The best about the movie is that it does'nt reduce the Daniel story to one plot , but elevates it to a tragedy. The movie takes you to a never ending emotional journey of Mariane Pearl played by Angelina Jolie who provides skilfully throughout the movie .Although, the talented director fails to keep up the suspense of a story with a known ending , the movie is still a must watch

"Wild Hogs"

The movie is about four friends who feel the pressure of thier mid-life responsibilities and need a break. Tim Allen plays a workaholic dentist; John Travolta plays a man on the verge of divorce from his supermodel wife; Martin Lawrence is a plumber with an overbearing wife; and Macy is a middle-aged computer geek still struggling to get a date. Thier only escape is thier weekly motorcycle rides and thier leather jacket adventures. Travolta facing a bankcruptcy and divorce proposes a road trip to the pacific taking a break from thier dull lives.Thier pleasure turns into a nightmare when they enter a "real" bikers bar and end up loosing Macy's Harley. The Gang however manages to get the bike back , but that is not the end but the start of a bad adventure. John Trivolta has done something wrong with the bikes which later blows up the "Del Fuegos Bar". The story revolves around these four men who call themselves "wild hogs" and some comical villans which provides a healthy comedy experiance. The movie has some great music as well which spices up the comedy even more. From the country sound of the 80's to the poppish sound of the new century and than finally ending up with Bon Jovi's latest nashville influenced hit "Lost Highway" , the movie has it all. With some serious dramatic movies being released this year , "Wild Hogs" has managed to stay on the box office for quite a time.

"28 Weeks Later"

Danny Boyle’s 2002 film “28 Days Later” was far from a perfect creation, but it was a raw nerve of a feature, experimental with the horror genre. The sequel "28 Weeks Later" is not different too. After a fantastic beginning, soaked with shaky-cam violence, 28 Weeks Later settles down for a bit to introduce its plot. After the outbreak chronicled in the first film, the rage-infected "zombies" have starved to death, and London has been quarantined off to protect its citizens from any more attacks from the outside but well that is not the end. After surviving a countryside attack from the roaming infected, Don (Robert Carlyle) has found his way back to London, now under quarantine and patrolled by American military forces (including Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, and Idris Elba). Reunited with his children, the future looks bright for Don and the citizens of the clean zone, but it’s not long before the virus finds its way into the city, leaving everyone in a panic to escape as the infected start their reign of terror all over again, leaving the military no choice but to exterminate the population. The children's escape from a city full of lookout guards likewise requires some suspension of disbelief, and that is when everything goes wrong. Now the has some serious anti-american streak , the reason being the millatry showed in a "do or die" situation. The movie becomes more frustrating towards the ending where the zombie's are shown going wild once again, this time in Paris. The producers want to squeeze everything they can from the boxoffice which surely is a bad idea to get things going.
