Hussein Calls White House Liars on Abuse and WMDs

Del Williams
Hussein said the White House lied about the abuse he suffered in American custody. The abuse took place three years ago, and he claims that it is documented by at least two doctors.

He further said that the White House lied about the Weapons of Mass Destruction they claimed were in Iraq.

The sad reality is that after the prison torture photos and prosecution, and other incidents of torture, it is no longer cut and dry that he could be lying. He was the most wanted man by the US, so what would do to him?

Then there is the issue that the White House did not want to support a ban on torture. If there were no torture going on why would you not sign off on it?

Christopher Reid, a spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, responded to the allegations by saying, "I can tell you, these people are living in conditions as good as the soldiers who are guarding them," said Reid. He said the allegations would be investigated, adding, "But from my position, such claims are bogus."

Let us pray that it is not true because the Bush Administration could not stand up to the backlash that would occur. Bush has been given a pass on a lot of things because of his magical use of 9/11. Bush has had a blank check, which he has been wielding against his own citizens since that day.

We rarely hear about Osama Bin Ladin anymore, because it would appear that the man who orchestrated the worst terrorists act on American soil is not a priority. Instead, the Administration is trying to keep all their balls in the air and their butt out of the frying pan by continuing the occupation of a free country.

He has spied on our citizens without the consent of congress or the secret court, been commander-an-chief over a military that used torture and humiliation to try to gain information, and held prisoners without charges in the name of keeping America safe.

One has to wonder if America can stand anymore of the Bush safe plan. So, what would have been cut-n-dry before is not that way. Hussein is probably lying, but because of the actions in the past one cannot be so sure anymore.
