Romantic Gift Ideas For a Man at Christmas or on Valentine's Day

Roy Thomsitt
Many people would say that men are not the romantic type, but that may not always be true. It all depends on how you present yourself to the man, and how romantic you are. If you are not the romantic type, they are not going to do something romantic for you, but if you are and you want to do something romantic for your man and know that he is going to feel it is his heart, there are many things you can do to make him feel special and loved.

A romantic gift that you can casually give him, for an occasion or just to show him how much you care, are snuggle mugs. These will show how much you appreciate him being in your life. They are two mugs that fit into each other. The "his" mug is bigger than the "hers" which is shaped to fit in with the "his" mug. The mugs are personalized with your names on and to top off the love, the handles of these mugs are heart shaped. He will really appreciate this, especially it you present it to him for no apparent reason as then it will be more of a surprise.

Another idea would be to cook him his favorite dinner. Make this a surprise in a room romantically lit with candles. Don't let him know anything of the idea or what you are planning and have it ready when he gets home. This isn't really a gift, but it is just about the most romantic thing a woman can do for her loving man. To top off the occasion, when you have both settled down to start dinner, read him a poem. This is more affectionate if the poem comes from the heart and not taken from a book or the internet, but if you can't write poetry even if you try, use resources to find the appropriate piece. Just when he thinks you have surprised him to the best of your ability, you stand and read him the poem. If you have taken enough time and effort to write the piece you can give it to him. He is sure to treasure it for as long as you two are together!

Men aren't always up for chocolates, but maybe if you have them personalized he will be more interested. There are places that allow you to have chocolates imprinted with either names or dates on. What would be romantic is if you get him chocolates with just an important date on, either the date of when you started dating or when you got married. That way, only he will know the importance of the chocolates and that will be even more special. Men sometimes don't like to be open about things, so by putting your names and a date on chocolates and giving it to him, he will probably eat them all before his friends see what they are, but if it has nothing but a date on, no one else will think anything of it and he will treasure them!

Choosing romantic gifts for a man may not always be easy, but think about what Christmas or Valentine gifts for him would give the most pleasure within your budget, and you will be on the right road.
