Flaxseed Oil: Nature’s Healing Oil

Saqqara Aleister
Today many people are looking for natural cures instead of popping a pill. Many find

Flaxseed Oil. Flaxseed Oil is now being considered one of the best Omega 3 Fatty Acids

a person can take. It not only helps lower cholesterol, but science is finding that

it also helps a host of other ailments, some of which are serious.

What are the benefits? It is believed that Flaxseed Oil helps cardiovascular health and

the immune, circulatory, reproductive, and nervous systems. It helps joints and

inflammation and reduces water retention; not only does it lower blood glucose levels,

but it also helps keep them at a steady rate all day; and helps fight the cravings for

sugary snacks.

Research/Studies: Research and studies have shown that Flaxseed Oil reduces blood

triglycerides, fat in the liver and blood stream, and stimulates fat cells. It improves

muscle recovery time after strenuous exercise and increases stamina, helping with weight

loss. It was also found to improve the absorption of calcium.

For the skin and hair it helps eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff by replenishing or helping

to keep needed moisture in cells. In the elderly it can help reduce blood pressure and

depression, along with helping relieve PMS symptoms for females and improving mental

function. Getting the full benefits of Flaxseed Oil depends on many things - your overall

health when starting the supplement, for starters. It could take anywhere from seven

days to six weeks to get the maximum benefits of full absorption, but you will start

feeling the benefits.

If you have been used to eating a high fat diet you may find the first seven days to be

the most uncomfortable as the Flaxseed Oil cleans the fat from your liver, arteries, and

other areas. High Lignan Oil is the best, one stored in the refrigerator section of your

grocery/health food store and should come in a dark bottle, as exposure to light can dull

the benefits of the oil. The oil is easier to take but, there are pills available as well;

your daily intake should be 1,000 mg or when using the oil two tablespoons, which with the nutty flavor can be added to any recipe. Below you will find two very good recipes to start you off on adding Flaxseed Oil to your diet.
