Novak: President Bush knows the CIA Leak

Reporter Bob Novak has come out to say that he believes President Bush knows who the CIA leak is. His exact words were, "I'd be amazed" if the president didn't know the source's identity and that the public should "bug the president as to whether he should reveal who the source is."
The White House response was, "we do not know what he is basing that on." Hmmm.
Who are we to believe? Lets look at the record. President Bush gave false information to get the US involved in a war. No one has yet to verify if he REALLY did his National Guard time. He rarely admits he is wrong.
Novak, He was the first with the name of Valerie Plame. The question is why he felt the need to tell us about her at all. Oh, supposedly her position had something to do with her husband...I think. Can anyone tell us what Dick Cheney's wife did for a living before he came to the White House? Off hand..I am clueless. But with some research, I discovered she is a historian who has written or co-authored eight books. Her last 3 were bestsellers. FYI she has an earned Phd. In that little bit I know more about her then I do about Valerie Plame.
Lets face some facts. This would be a non-story if the leakers were not thought to be high in the White House pecking order. To be honest most people probably still do not know or care who Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame are.
Is Novak trying to go after the President by his fresh revelations? It is looking that way.
If he is upset that Libby was indicted he should have come forth a long time ago instead of waiting. Will Fitzgerald go after him like he did the other reporter for not revealing her source? Nope! The funny thing is that Novak has not revealed his source either. They will not give their permission to do so. He will only say that it is someone in the White House. Well, that narrows it down to about 1000 people.
With all these people who feel they can reveal secrets, insinuate, and dodge, will the American public ever know who was the leak? Does Bush know? Is this just a game to keep their names in the paper? Could it all be about trying to get the President out of office.
All parties would deny that, but one has to wonder about the motive behind the statement of Bob Novak. Neither party looks trustworthy in this leak.
