Texas 'Young Guns' one-step closer to Rose Bowl repeat

After the world premier of the “catch-me-if-you-can-show” hosted by sophomore quarterback Vince Young in last year’s unforgettable Rose Bowl game, Young made a promise to coach Mack Brown. And with a 70 to 3 massacre of the Buffalos in the Big Twelve Championship game last Saturday, Young proved to be a man of his word. Young along with his high-power offensive arsenal, and his heavy-hitting, stingy “Texas Hold’em” defense, had his team’s, along with Mack Brown’s tickets punched to visit Pasadena, California, the site of the Rose Bowl, where this year’s National Championship game will be held.

You can forget stats, the spread, and the superstitions. The ‘horns are gonna win cause number ten won’t let’em lose. “Razzle-Dazzle” part 2 is set for January 4, and the ‘horns are “all in” with their “anytime, anywhere” mentality. Though the weather forecast predicts lots and lots of “thunder” and “lighting” in the area, USC Quarterback and 2004 Heisman winner Matt Leinart is sure he can play under any conditions. The season that Junior running back Reggie Bush is having has been phenomenal. But the best kept secret from the “president”? The Texas defense may be hiding “weapons of mass destruction”.
