A great gift for Seekers of Truth, entertaining and enlightening!
Title: A Journey to the Truth
AUTHOR: Sohrab ChamanAra
God in the person of the Savior came with a message of love, after another 500 years, the last prophet of the children of Abraham brought Islam. Fifteen hundred years have now passed since the birth of Islam and mankind still seems unable to progress spiritually despite great advances in other facets of human life. It is into this world that Sam is born. from Forward, A Journey to the Truth.
Sam is born to a loving family in Chicago in the 1940’s. A precocious child, Sam sees the humor in life in spite of the poverty that surrounds his minority neighborhood. Losing both of his parents as a teen, Sam is thrown into a lonely and confusing world. Blessed with a brilliant mind and some help along the way, he soon graduates and begins to amass a fortune. But something is missing and Sam begins his search for spiritual Truth.
The author presents the search for spiritual enlightenment in an entertaining tale that gives glimpses of various religious beliefs and customs. Without bogging the reader down with excessive detail, he makes his point in a succinct and concise manner. The character Sam is a lovable, yet believable young man; sincere in his sometimes, obsessive vacillating search for Truth. The addition of the romance between Sam and Sarena adds a certain softness to the story and the character. The author introduces Sam’s friend, Sohrab using his own name and the reader wonders at this point if the story is truth or fiction.
Author, Sohrab ChamanAra was born in Iran immigrating to the U.S in 1987. He lives in Des Plaines, Illinois with his wife Minoo. His career in engineering provides the background for some of the details of Sam’s career. We recommend this book to seekers of Truth as a quick yet entertaining and interesting read.
