Children's Health Care, a Logical View

There are alot of people out there that want the federal government to provide health care for everyone, or perhaps just children. The problem is that the government gets its funds(or rather the funds to pay back the fed reserve)from the tax-payers. That is opposite of freedom.
How can it be considered right for Jim to be forced to pay for Sam’s children's rotted teeth? It is not. This government sponsored theft would promote unhealthy lifestyles and would cause taxes to skyrocket. People will decide that since the money is taken out of their taxes or since they never see a bill, that its not such a big deal to eat junk-food or smoke or imitate people on MTV’s ‘Jackass’. But the doctors don't work for free! Congress would end up raising taxes to cover the costs. This would make the poor poorer and aid in the erosion of the middle class and everyone would have less money to put where it would profit them the most. At the same time we would be punishing the people who practice healthy lifestyles. Since healthy food tends to cost more, they would have less money to buy healthy food or an exercising system, etc. that could help them maintain good health. Pretty soon there would be an outcry from many of the citizens, and some well intended but misguided congressmen would pass more bills regulating our health; what we eat, how long we sleep, what gear we must wear playing sports, etc. They could literally link anything to health. Then some people would cry about smoking being banned or fast food being illegal, without realizing that they ceded the right to make those private, personal decisions to the government when they begged for the government to provide health care.
Who would, in their right mind, want to cede their right to raise their children to someone who does not know the child and never will? It sounds crazy to even suggest it! that person could not possibly love the child and know what is in the child's best interest more than the parent!
See, the more we want the government to be responsible for us, the less freedom we have, freedom isn't free. It is the hardest thing to get and even harder to keep, and that's what makes it so valuable.
It is absolutely absurd to try and force someone to be responsible for someone else. Parents should be responsible for themselves and their children and nobody else, unless they are so of free will. They are your children, you had them, you should be responsible for them. That is right, that is just, that is equal.
So lets all grow up and take the responsibility that is inseparable from independence rather than waste away in the chains of slavery that dependence demands.
