Cindy Sheehan Back at Bush Ranch

Del Williams
Cindy Sheehan has finally shown her face in Texas. This is her first siting since her conviction in DC for demonstrating without a permit. Days after protesters were arrested for their make shift campsite a mile away from the Bush ranch Sheehan shows up. She sites that she was on a family emergency. Funny, it ended after Thanksgiving. Maybe that was too harsh, but timing speaks volumes. She has incited thousands to stand against the Iraq war because her son was killed in Iraq in April 2004.

Will the police arrest her in Texas or will she be given a walk? Is she trying to get arrested again? My gut tells me she does.

Upon her arrival in Waco, she was met by dozens of supporters. "I feel happy to be back here with all my friends ... but I'm heartbroken that we have to be here again," said Sheehan. She went on to say,"We will keep pressing and we won't give up until our troops are brought home."

The people of Iraq are suffering under our occupation, and for people in America it's business as usual stuffing themselves on fat turkeys," said Tammara Rosenleaf.

Her husband is in the Army and about to be deployed in a couple of weeks.

So, how should he feel since his wife does not believe his mission is justified or noble? He should be insulted! It his job not hers. The men who joined are part of a volunteer force. There are no drafts. They made a choice, for whatever reason, to become part of the armed services. People like Sheehan, who might have a right to voice their opinion, cause division. The Commander in Chief has spoken and regardless must be obeyed. He is not asking them to commit crimes, but to bring democracy. The same democracy that Sheehan and her group are enjoying. If they were in Iraq they would be in prison or dead. I guess it is good that she is in America.

To the pro-war supporters who are at the Bush ranch, thank you for showing that some of us support our troops.
