Dear Editor,
While as you rightly pointed out Mr. Abebe Gelaw is entitled to his opinion, I would like to raise my concern over any attempt to silence people like Dr. Megalommatis who are making efforts to speak on behalf people who have no voice like the Somalis in the Ogaden region as access to the whole area is denied by the Ethiopian Armed Forces. I read his advocacy rights on the Ogaden region which are accurate as far as I can tell. I think American Chronicles shall support and encourage human rights activists against all odds because gross human rights abuses are pervasive in the world, particularly in Africa.
