Ron Paul Brings Hope

Victoria Hardy
It’s hard not to become cynical in this world. When I look about and see crooks and liars on the top of the heap, followed by throngs of supporters, while honest, hard working Americans are just struggling to get a foot up, I grow frustrated. I tend to stay out of politics, the double talk, back room deals and maneuvering seem so blatant to me and I feel how different I am when I realize others do not see what I see. I rarely listen to a politician and feel anything other than irritation, that is, until I heard Ron Paul speak.

It has been said that when truth is spoken, the lies are revealed. I believe we all know truth when we hear it and perhaps that is why the television and radio media doesn’t spend a lot of time focusing on Ron Paul, because truth is contagious and it spreads quickly. Despite the fact that Ron Paul placed well in the Ames Iowa straw poll and won both the West Alabama Republican Assembly and the Strafford County, NH straw polls by landslides, he still is not mentioned as a real contender in the presidential race.
