Snowman T-Shirt Promotes Illegal Drug Use

Robert Paul Reyes
There is nothing more loveable, non-threatening and endearing than a snowman. The typical snowman doesn't have arms, he can't choke or slug you, he can only offer you his unconditional love.

Children love to congregate around a snowman, because they sense that he will be around for only a few days.

When a snowman dies he doesn't leave behind a rotting corpse, he simply melts away to that Big Winter Wonderland In The Sky.

One of the hottest-selling T-shirts around the country depicts a simply drawn snowman. In an age when kids like to sport T-Shirts displaying risque slogans, this novelty T-Shirt should be met with pleasure by parents, right?

Unfortunately, this T-shirt is not what it appears to be, you see this snowman has a snarl instead of a smile. This snowman popularized by drug-dealer-turned rapper Young Jeezy symbolizes those who sell cocaine, aka snow.

Anti-drug activists and education officials are up in arms, protesting that the T-shirt promotes and glorifies illegal drug use.

Some schools are banning students from wearing the snowman images.

I have nothing but contempt for Young Jeezy, he has taken a delightful children's icon and turned him into a drug dealer. What's next, will he come out with a T-Shirt that depicts Santa Claus as a burglar?

I urge parents not to let their children wear a snowman T-Shirt, I wouldn't want my hard earned money to go to a thug promoting illegal drug use.
