Another New Creation Museum in North America!
Following the lead of the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum that recently opened in Petersburg, Kentucky (www.creationmuseum.org), in the greater Cincinnati area, this smaller Canadian museum is making a valuable contribution to showing others that a special Creation by one Creator God is not only biblically taught, but can be scientifically supported.
With a real emphasis on Geology, this new museum is called the Big Valley Creation Science Museum. It is located in Big Valley, a small town in Alberta (above Montana in the USA) that is located mid way between Calgary in central southern Alberta, and Edmonton in the north.
Along with its great new creation museum, Big Valley is the last stop on a historic old steam railway that is frequented by tourists. The tracks of the steam railway extend from the town of Stettler to Big Valley, and are maintained by the East Central Alberta Heritage Society (ECHAC). Alberta Prairie Steam Tours (http://www.absteamtrain.com/) in Stettler, Alberta rents the use of the track from ECHAC for their steam train excursions.
Big Valley is also near Drumheller, Alberta, another small town located in the midst of this world-class dinosaur site, which has been nicknamed Dinosaur Valley. See http://www.dinosaurvalley.com/.
for information about visiting the area.
With the Steam railway, Creation Museum, and Dinosaur Valley as major attractions, Big Valley makes a great destination for a low-budget, and fun summer vacation. As a result, the tiny town of Big Valley sees a fair amount of tourist traffic (between 25,000 to 30,000 out-of-town visitors) throughout the year.

This museum was brought about with the help of the world’s largest traveling Creation Museum, another Canadian-owned ministry. You can learn about them by visiting their web site at http://creationtruthministries.org/.
