A Women’s Place Network, Inc. announces the beta launch of its premier online community – http://awomensplace.org/.

A Women’s Place is an “out of the box” experience for women traveling through the 2nd half of life’s journey! Women, age 45 plus, who share common interests, challenges, demands, hopes, desires, dreams & goals.

AWP is a virtual resource for connecting women from ALL walks of life. Our desire is to build dynamic bridges of communication between our members so they can meet:

Personal & Social Interests

Business & Professional Goals

or a desire to grow & mature in their Christian faith

We discovered that we can make it happen via the 21st century’s cutting-edge technology & the internet! We discovered we can create a “virtual touch felt ‘round the world!” Simply put – We are women, all over the globe, virtually connecting with and supporting each other – because we can!” states Linda Fitzgerald, chief architect of the project.

A Women’s Place has a strong leadership team of seasoned professional women who bring years of experience, wisdom and knowledge to the online community in areas of business; health, wellness and anti-aging strategies; finances; networking; coaching and mentoring, as well as 2nd half of life’s journey success strategies.

The unique aspect of www.awomensplace.org is the nearly total use of emerging technologies now available to internet users – such as web-based conferences, webcasts and webinars - utilizing the same tools and techniques that major corporations and educational institutions have been using for some time. AWP allows its members to CONNECT; CONVERSE and NETWORK in the AWP JAVA CAFÉ’. Making connections, conversation and networking to meet social, business or professional goals has never been easier. JAVA TALK events are also informative and educational – designed for women who want to get it straight from their AWP sisters and try it out in their own lives!

It’s a safe place for women who face the unique challenges of mid-life and beyond to join, connect and network for varying reasons; including business and professional networking – something we always thought had to be done face to face!”

AWP is membership based. Basic membership –”LINK” is FREE! LINK members enjoy great benefits including JAVA TALK CAFÉ’ events; attendance at any web-based AWP event; participation in the FORUMS and AWP blog, the IDEA EXCHANGE, as well as private secure AWP chat rooms, and much more. With a commitment to build a strong sense of community among its members, AWP plans events with community in mind and invites members to take an active role in the growth & development of the community.

PREMIUM LINK MEMBERSHIP”, a fee-based membership, is designed primarily for business or professional women who want to get their products or services before a growing network community of women; develop a loyal customer base among like-minded women; and be both a source of information & education for our members as well as learn and grow from them! Premium Link members will particularly enjoy our online networking design – CONNECTWORKING”©.

Both membership levels enjoy great benefits. AWP leadership states it is policy that the community does business exclusively with its membership when possible, so it’s a great place for women-owned businesses to gain new and wide-ranging opportunities. It also allows members to connect with markets that traditional networking cannot do.

http://awomensplace.org/ launched in Beta format July 1, 2007.

Fitzgerald states that advertising opportunities exist. Special incentives are available to companies who contract to advertise or sponsor during the launch period June 30 through September 30, 2007.
